My name is Cody Nance and my wife and I produce bull riding and bull fighting events in the TN area. I am a professional bull rider and have qualified for the PBR World Finals 12 times. I was PBR rookie of the year in 2009 and have over 600 qualified rides in the PBR. I am one ride short of being the 20th rider in PBR history to make 300 rides on the elite tour.

For the first time ever, Cody Nance brings you the Nance Productions Bull Riding Classic presented by Cooper Tires. Bull rider Cody Nance has invited 25 cowboys to come to UT Martin Ned McWherter AG Complex. Get your kids and family their tickets early at the ticket stop Angry Axe on Black Friday for only $25, 3 and under are free. Cody Nance will be at the Angry Axe on November 25th giving free mechanical bull rides from 11 am to 3 pm. Tickets make great stocking stuffers and are available at Angry Axe starting Black Friday! We have a yearly sold out bull riding event every January with over 5,000 tickets sold a night at the Oman Arena in Jackson, TN. This year we have decided to move our event in January to the UT Martin Ned McWherter Ag Complex.
The event dates for 2023 are January 20-21st, and we have multiple sponsorship opportunities available. We are hoping to make this a yearly event and believe this will be a great avenue to raise money for the local rodeo team. We will be having a silent auction with 100% of proceeds going to UT Martin Rodeo Team.

I knew that bull riding was a short-lived career with most retiring before 30 years old and had a passion to grow people’s interest for the sport of rodeo because of the values held by western lifestyles such as strong belief in God and country, hard work, discipline, respect, generosity, and much more. With this realization, my wife and I started a production company called Nance Productions LLC.
We started with a vision which led to a sold out bull riding event that hosted five thousand plus bull riding fans and an event providing multiple financial opportunities. We have been able to give over ten thousand dollars to St Jude and Western Sports Foundation. With each event we are able to pay out nearly forty thousand dollars between the contestants, announcers, and staff each year.
Nance Productions has now expanded to an Ultimate Bullfighting event, a yearly PBR in Paris, owning and operating a mechanical bull, and contracting sheep both for our events and others for the youths’ involvement. We understand that without the support of the community, our dreams wouldn’t be possible.
